Good morning,
First of all,
I apologize because I was only able to make a post at the end of this week,
I want to tell you about the New Year Party that we held last week,
this event is an annual agenda for Indonesian students who are in Shizuoka every time they welcome the New Year, initially we will do it right on the 1st, but because many friends already have their own schedules. so the event was held the following week.
This event aims to increase the feeling of kinship and encourage each other to welcome the new year.
of course at this event we ate together.
at this event we made several Indonesian menus with the main menu,
"tumpeng rice",
usually this rice is made for special events such as birthdays, baby births, etc.
Apart from that, there are several snacks that we make such as takoyaki, okonomiyaki, and cheese platter.
Below is some documentation that I managed to capture.

What is that green stuff on the top of the rice tower? I imagine we Japanese may use bamboo leaves for it, but maybe banana?
ReplyDeleteYes, sensei, those are banana leaves. Adding banana leaves to meals as adornment enhances its aroma.
