Last Friday, my lab held a New Year party at a izakaya near Gifu station.
Some, actually more than half of, students got sick and calcelled it but OB/OG members came with no cancel.
There, as is costomary, we exchanged presents (~1000 yen). Last year I brought a karuta card set of human muscles. This year, I found this and included with some other Tezuka Osamu goods. I love to bring such "junk" items for this exchange event. One student brought "an eyemask with imitated salmon eggs on the surface" and that was great (^^;)
Do you have such nonsense events?
I thought a gift exchange would be a nice event to lift up the mood. A karuta card set of human muscles is nice!
