Hello, all.
Do you follow the class?
I am a bit quiet this year because there are a lot of participants. But you do not need to do the same.
To change the subject, I like to eat out at local restaurants rather than chain ones. This is a lunch what I ate at a local coffee shop last month.
Do you see an egg castard (not sweet), on which slices of shiitake mushroom can be found? Then I found a card (red one) on the shelf.
It says that you win a tiny present if you find two umeboshi (salted plum pickles) in the egg castard.
What a nice pleasure for lunch time! But I found only one.
I have never seen such interesting ideas in restaurants but in Japan, a lottery stick in ice candy is popular. Do you find these in other countries?

The set meal is very complete and looks delicious and The restaurant concept is very unique, i just heard it, interesting!!
ReplyDeletePeople can look for umeboshi with excitement.
ReplyDeleteI used to want a can called "Kyoro-chan can" and I had the experience of buying many "Choco Ball" and looking for the winning lottery.

"Choco Ball" is such a longseller item and it of course existed when I was a kid. But now I first know that the outlet of "Choco Ball" is designed as a beak! Did you know that?
ReplyDeleteExactly! The manufacturer's website describes the Choco Ball's outlet as a "beak"!
