Hello! I’m Chie
Ohmoto, first-year student in Science of Biological Resources at Gifu University.
I’m posting
my self-introduction.
1.My name is Chie. I'm from Kanagawa Prefecture.
I entered Gifu University from the PhD program.
2.My research theme is “cooked rice”.
Cooked rice is a staple food in Japan that has been eaten for centuries.
Processed rice foods require a certain amount of time from production to consumption.
But when time lapses, cooked rice will undergo changes, for example,
it becomes harder and its texture becomes parched.
Maintaining the delicious state of cooked rice is my interest and research theme.
3.When I went to France for an academic conference,
I ate pizza on the terrace with my laboratory members.
Eating a freshly baked pizza with friends made the taste better.

It should be a nice experience to enjoy foods abroad with lab members. I just wonder how they made the pizza. Did they make it from scratch?
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment, Prof. Miyake. As you said, it was an irreplaceable experience for me. I don't remember how they made the pizza, but the crust was crispy and very tasty.
